But that’s not even the best part. It’s the people of Cambodia that are the real treasures. Having experienced such a struggle-filled past it’s incredible the country is so happy in the present. Open and welcoming, the Cambodian people seem to know each and every other local personally, sharing smiles, laughs and even the shade of a tuk tuk. This amazing togetherness is apparent no matter where in the country you visit, but especially so in the seaside town of Sihanoukville, where friendly nods and big laughs abound. Laze by the water and watch the happy locals, it wont take too long till you are joining them and smiling from ear to ear.
