Wilson Rego's friendly face is one you may have had the pleasure of seeing onboard.
Wilson has been with P&O Cruises Australia for over 13 years, starting in 2007 as a Bar Steward and working his way up the ladder. He is now overseeing the entire Food & Beverage Department on Pacific Explorer. A fantastic career achievement and one of which he is very proud.
Day-to-day Wilson looks after all the food & beverage daily operations ensuring all products and customer service is above standard, that our guests are well looked after and the crew have the tools they need to deliver this service easily. Happy guests and happy crew = happy life!
Wilson's favourite port is Sydney. For him the experience of sailing out of the most beautiful harbour in the world is breathtaking and it never gets old no matter how many times he has done it. 'Every time is like the first time… it's magical.' We totally agree :)
And we asked Wilson what he is most looking forward to when we resume cruising...

Fun fact: Wilson got his stripes in India working at the JW Marriott hotel chain, but once he got his sea legs he has never looked back. He loves cruising as it enables him to travel the world and create lasting memories that just cannot be re-created anywhere else.
