Voted Best Cruise Operator

P&O Cruises Australia has won the National Travel Industry Awards (NITA) for ‘Best Cruise Operator’ for the third year in a row, and was inducted into the NTIA Hall of Fame.

The awards are voted directly by industry travel agents around Australia and were announced in Sydney on Saturday July 5, 2008.

Jenny Lourey, Senior Vice President for P&O Cruises Australia accepted the award on the night and said the cruise line was thrilled to be inducted into the Hall of Fame after three consecutive wins.

“Being recognised by our travel industry peers three years in a row is a great honour for P&O Cruises Australia and a reflection of the impressive quality of our product and service.

“We are currently introducing many onboard innovations in both entertainment and dining to create an even more unforgettable holiday for our passengers.

“P&O Cruises Australia values its relationship with travel agents and we have recently restructured our sales team to develop even closer connections with agents,” Ms Lourey said.

The National Travel Industry Awards are presented by the Australian Federation of Travel Agents.
