Lamen Bay
Local people consider Lamen Bay's 1.5 kilometre beach to be Epi's best. Thereís white sand on the southern side of the bay and beside the airstrip to the north. However, the sand at the village itself is black. The settlement has two small stores and is surrounded by coconut trees.
Between the airstrip and the waterís edge is a canoe park. Villagers from nearby Lamen Island stow their boats here when they come across.
Enjoy a BBQ lunch and be entertained by the locals with singing and dancing. There are interesting walks through the village and school, plus opportunities to purchase souvenirs from various stalls. A great beach day for swimming and snorkelling.
