Using this Website
To make your visit to this P&O Cruises website more interesting and fun, we've used a number of current web multimedia features. We watch carefully what browsers and plug-ins you are using, and try to offer the largest number of users the best browsing experience. This website is best viewed in Internet Explorer 5 and above, or Netscape 6 and above, using operating systems Windows 98, XP ad ME, or Macintosh OS9 and OSX, with a screen size of 800x600. If you are having trouble viewing any of the pages, please read on.
We also know that there are users with disabilities or sometimes an older browser and a slow web connection. We want those people to get the most from the website as well. We offer a complete text version of the website that has the same information, but none of the pictures and Flash animation. You can see that Text Version at any time, just use the link on every page.

Flash page banners
If you have one of the later versions of Macromedia's Flash installed, then you will be prompted to upgrade to Flash 6. It's a small download and installs automatically. Then you'll be seeing our animated navigation bar. If you don't have Flash 4 or better, then we haven't made you load it, we've just given you a simpler still image version that looks almost as pretty. To maximise your website experience we recommend that you keep checking the Macromedia website as there are constantly new versions of the latest player. (If you don't know what version of Flash you have you can check it here.) It will display something like WIN, for Windows, MAC for Macintosh and a number 4, 5, 6, etc. If no version number is displayed, you should install the latest version from the Macromedia Flash Player Download Center. It's free.
Quicktime VR
Our 360 degree ship tours use Apple Quicktime VR. Use the dowload button on those pages to get the latest free player, and if you need further help, the Apple website has a great help page just click here.
The Cruisecams

There are cameras mounted on the bridge of almost all the P&O Cruises fleet, and they link to our websites by satellite. The still images are sent about every 30 seconds and the page should 'refresh' to show you a new picture. The cameras are operated on an automatic system and often the image is of a wide seascape that doesn't change until the ship comes to islands or to a port. Then you really get to see the colour and some of the beauty of the world of P&O Cruises. At night of course there's nothing much to see so why not try one of the many other P&O Cruisecams on the other side of the globe.
