Passengers with Disabilities or Requiring Assistance
Passengers who are not fully mobile and use wheelchairs are very welcome onboard our ships but we do ask that you let us know when making your booking by ticking the relevant boxes on the booking form. We can then send you further information.
We are only able to accept a limited number of wheelchair users on each cruise. If you do use a wheelchair or expect to use one during any part of your cruise, you must provide your own standard size wheelchair (access is limited for larger size wheelchairs) and you must also travel with a companion fit and able to assist you. Wheelchairs must be stored in the passenger cabins.
All our ships have cabins accessible for those who use a wheelchair - please ask us for details. Additionally, each ship has a number of cabins specially designed for non-ambulant passengers; facilities include wider doorways and ample grab rails.
At tender launch ports, the condition of the quayside can often be unsuitable for landing wheelchair passengers but from onboard our ships you will be able to be taken ashore in the ship's launches whenever the condition of the quay ashore is suitable and weather conditions permit. With your safety and comfort in mind, the decision to permit or prohibit passengers from going ashore will be made on each occasion by the ship's Captain and that decision is final.
