Enjoy a peaceful on-deck experience as you take in the ever-changing horizon.

The Oasis is available on Pacific Sun, Pacific Pearl, Pacific Jewel and Pacific Dawn. Daybeds are available on a first come first served basis. Access to The Oasis is free. Charges apply when ordering any non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverages and food from the bar.

Nautical Glossary

Act of Pardon / Act of Grace
A letter from a state or power authorising action by a privateer. Also see Letter of Marque.
Dayboard
The daytime identifier of an aid to navigation presenting one of several standard shapes (square, triangle, rectangle) and colors (red, green, white, orange, yellow, or black).
Starboard
The right hand side of the ship when looking forward
Astern
Any distance behind a ship, as opposed to A-Head.
Dog-watch
The watches from four to six and six to eight in the evening.
Lee-side
The half of a ship, lengthwise, which lies between a line drawn through the middle of her length and the side, which is farthest from the point of wind.
Shallow, not deep.
Shoal
Water line
The line made by the water's edge when a ship has her full proportion of stores on board.
Under the lee of the shore
Close to the shore, which lies to windward of the ship.
Fresh away
When your ship increases its velocity.
