Take in the highlights on a narrated drive along the 22-mile road that encircles Bora Bora, passing coconut groves and seaside hamlets along the way. Travel through the main villages of Vaitape, Faanui and Anau, and continue past American naval gun sites from World War II. Stop at Matira Point, and Anau Lookout, and enjoy spectacular views of the motus that dot the reef surrounding the island. In the distance, a glimpse of the neighbouring islands of Raiatea and Taaha may be seen. Taihi Point offers views of majestic Mount Otemanu, which, at 2,400 feet, overlooks the entire island.
