This tour is an introduction to New Zealand's largest city. Departing your ship, travel along Tamaki Drive past the Port of Auckland on your way to Bastion Point. See the lovely beaches of Auckland before heading for Parnell Village. Parnell is New Zealand's oldest suburb is famed for its galleries, cafés, restaurants and charming boutique-style stores. Drive through the beautiful Auckland Domain, the city's oldest park. This 75 hectare park was developed around the cone of an extinct volcano. Drive through the central business district and past the famous Sky Tower on your way back to the ship.

Join the owner Darryl and his friendly crew on this calm water cruise to explore some of the historic sites in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Departing from Waitangi, you will travel along the coast towards Opua before heading over to Okiato passing Omata estate vineyard and Kororareka oyster farms along the way. Sit back and relax while lunch is served and the cruise turns towards historic Russell. Once known as the “Hell Hole of the Pacific,” by whalers, traders, and sealers, Russell was the original port in the North Island. Today, Russell is a picturesque waterfront village full of old homesteads, historic churches, and wooden cottages. You will have the option to disembark in Russell and explore the township, or travel back to your departure wharf. Your return ferry ticket to Paihia is included.

This tour takes you by chartered vessel through the magnificent inner islands of the Bay teeming with a large variety of marine life. You may encounter dolphins, seals, fairy penguins and whales, though wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Board the catamaran and pass the historic towns of Paihia and Russell before entering the Bay of Islands channel where your catamaran will begin cruising to the Cape Brett Lighthouse. You will pass through the inner islands of the Bay to Motukokao Island and the famous Hole in the Rock. Here, the purpose-built vessel will negotiate the channel through the hole and to the magnificent Grand Cathedral Cave. Please note, the tour does not guarantee sailing through the Hole in the Rock if the sea is rough or there is a strong current.

Experience the sights and sounds of Brisbane on a narrated drive through the city centre before boarding a classic paddlewheel steamboat for a leisurely lunch cruise along the Brisbane River. Leaving the pier, your motorcoach will travel through Brisbane's riverside residential and commercial suburbs to arrive at the panoramic point of Bartley’s Lookout. Continue with your narrated drive past many of Brisbane's landmarks, such as the gracious City Hall with its neighbouring Anne Street Church, and appreciate the fine architecture of both the stately Customs and Parliament Houses before viewing The Old Windmill. Board the paddlewheel riverboat “Kookaburra Queen” for an approximately two-hour lunch cruise down the Brisbane River. Glide past Hamilton Hill and historic Newstead House. View the multimillion-dollar mansions at Norman Park and cruise through the heart of Brisbane. Travel past South Bank Parklands, site of the Expo ‘88 and the cultural heart of the city. At the completion of your river cruise, reboard your motorcoach for a scenic tour through Fortitude Valley and Chinatown, before returning to the ship.
