Special Diets

If you have special dietary requirements, we ask that you confirm your dietary requests with the Maitre d’ or Head Waiter upon arrival. They will discuss the details with you to avoid any misunderstanding.

Please note the Doctor onboard advises against eating at the buffet due to the risk of cross contamination of foods by passengers moving food from one container to another, thereby possibly dropping contents into another bowl.

Generally, you will be requested to choose an item from the usual dinner menu. These will be available one night in advance for your information (breakfast and luncheon menus are also available in advance upon request). If there are any special requirements, we request that you make this known to the Head Waiter, or Maitre d’Hotel the evening prior to the meal in question, preferably during dinner.

While we will endeavour to meet your specific needs and requirements, P&O Cruises ask that you take responsibility for your own needs by taking the extra time to peruse the menus and make your selections accordingly.

Any concerns or questions regarding meals and diet can be addressed to either the Maitre d’Hotel or Head Waiter who will do their utmost to assist in any way they can.
