For littlies 3-6, there's Turtle Cove, Shark Shack for 7-10 year olds, HQ for your totally mature 11-14's and HQ+ is for 15-17 year olds . Plus our unique Ocean Friends activity in conjunction with Sydney Aquarium lets kids enjoy a safe, educational interactive experience with our marine friends.

Nautical Glossary

Above-water hull
The hull section of a vessel above waterline, the visible part of a ship. Also, topsides.
Act of Pardon / Act of Grace
A letter from a state or power authorising action by a privateer. Also see Letter of Marque.
Abaft the beam
Further aft than the beam: a relative bearing of greater than 90 degrees from the bow: "two points abaft the port beam".
Abandon ship!
An imperative to leave the vessel immediately, usually in the face of some imminent danger.
Daggerboard
A type of centerboard that is lifted vertically; often used in pairs.
Dayboard
The daytime identifier of an aid to navigation presenting one of several standard shapes (square, triangle, rectangle) and colors (red, green, white, orange, yellow, or black).
Fast
Fastened or held firmly (fast aground: stuck on the seabed; made fast: tied securely).
Fender
An air or foam filled bumper used in boating to keep boats from banging into docks or each other.
Hoy
A particular kind of vessel.
Fresh away
When your ship increases its velocity.
